Envelopes expire after 30 days
Every envelope gets a 30-day deadline when it is created. If all signatures are not collected before then, the status flips to Expired automatically and the signing links stop working.
Expired is terminal. You cannot extend or reopen an expired envelope — send a new one.
If a deadline is approaching and your signer needs more time, the practical move is to send a reminder now rather than let it lapse.
